This Vidyalaya was established in August 1985 to cater to the educational needs of wards of Defense Personnel. The Vidyalaya Building is located in beautiful and sylvan surroundings. As you enter the campus through the large gate, a uniformed security guard greets you. Right in front are the vast playgrounds which are a hub of activity. As you walk along the road towards the building you will notice the artistically painted boundary walls and the decorative railing all the sides. There is a large stage and cemented assembly ground in front of the building. The Vidyalaya Building is a model of simplicity and beauty. The Vidyalaya is fully financed by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Government of India. The Vidyalaya is managed by a local management committee with the head of Academic Department (HAD), IMA, Dehradun as Chairman.

  1. Following is the school uniform prescribed for the students of KVS.

SUMMER

1.

Class 1 to VII

Boys :

White shirt with half sleeves and two pocket without flaps and tie collar, Navy blue ahorts with two pockets (Navy blue handkerchief for Sikh Students) Black Leather Shoes with laces and white socks without bands.

 

Girls:

White blouse with half sleeves and 'V' neck, red, ribbon, Navy blue skirts with knife cut plates. Black leather shoes without laces. White socks without band.

2.

Class IX to XII

Boys :

Navy Blur Pant with two pockets (Navey Turban for Sikh students) Everything else as above.

 

Girls:

Navy Blue Kameez with half sleevs 'V' Neck, white salwar and white dupatta, can replace blouse and skirt optionally. Rest will remain as such.

3.

P.T. Uniform

Boys :

White short/Pant and white canvas shoes replace Navy Blue shirt/ paint and black shoes respectively.

 

Girls:

White skirt replaces navy blue skirts and white canvas shoes to replaces black leather shoes. White ribbon

WINTER

 

Boys :

Navy Blue blazer with brass buttons or navy blue "V" neck pullover to add. Steel gray pant/ Shirt to replace the navy blue.

 

Girls:

Navy Blue blazer with brass buttons or navy blue cardigan with round neck Steel gray skirt to replace with navy blue.
